Shabby Chic
Resistenza Type · Giuseppe Salerno, Paco González · 2017

A single-weight dry brush charm script with distressed edges and flowing letter connections, built for warm, artisan-flavoured cards, labels and print collateral.
About
Shabby Chic is drawn with a dry brush pen to mimic a weathered, hand-made sign, with distressed edges and long letter connections giving it an organic, nostalgic feel. OpenType alternates, ligatures and initial/final forms allow limited customisation within its single Regular cut. Its appeal is narrow – it works well for invitations, labels and artisan branding, but the single weight and decorative character make it unsuitable for running text or varied typographic hierarchies.
Classification
Single-weight dry brush charm script developed from Resistenza's monolinear script Mina. Heavy distressing and long letter connections give an organic, hand-crafted quality. No weight range, no italics, no width variants.
