Revolute
Resistenza Type · Giuseppe Salerno, Paco González · 2024

A geometric stencil revival of H. Brünnel's 1937 Resolut from Fonderie Nebiolo, offered across six weights with slanted companions and a variable font version.
About
Revolute takes its cue from the Resolut typeface designed by H. Brünnel for Fonderie Nebiolo in Turin in 1937. Designed by Giuseppe Salerno and Paco González and released in 2024, it carries clean geometric letterforms with the characteristic optical cuts of stencil construction across six weights, each paired with a slanted companion. Practical enough for branding, signage and headlines, though the stencil form keeps it firmly in display-only territory.
Classification
Geometric stencil sans-serif display typeface. Six weight levels (Light, Regular, Medium, Bold, Black, Display) each offered in upright and slanted forms, totalling 12 static styles. Also published as a variable font with weight and slant axes. Designed as a contemporary revival of H. Brünnel's Resolut, released by Fonderie Nebiolo, Turin, 1937. Slanted variants are mechanically sloped, not true italics.
