Peperoncino
Resistenza Type · Giuseppe Salerno, Paco González · 2018

A 33-font layered display system drawn with a marker pen, designed for stacking its texture and effect variants on a shared baseline to build colourful, handmade headlines.
About
Peperoncino is a decorative display system conceived with a marker pen, its irregular strokes giving each cut a fresh handmade quality. The 33 fonts – spanning thin weights through texture variants like Dots, Rough, Neon, Jeans, Doodle, Blur and 3D – all share identical metrics, so a headline set in one style can be duplicated and layered in place to produce illustrative, multi-colour effects. Best suited to poster work, packaging and brand identities that call for a bold, hand-crafted typographic centrepiece.
Classification
Decorative layered display sans-serif conceived with a marker pen. The 33-font family shares identical metrics to allow in-place stacking of texture and effect variants (Dots, Rough, Neon, Jeans, Doodle, 3D, etc.). Novelty/illustrative in intent rather than text-setting. Italian indie foundry by Giuseppe Salerno and Paco González.
