Natura
Resistenza Type · Giuseppe Salerno, Paco González · 2015

A fountain-pen calligraphy script inspired by nineteenth-century naturalist field notebooks, offered in upright and slanted script cuts alongside a narrow serif companion and two ornamental sets.
About
Natura was designed by drawing each letterform with a flexible fountain pen before digitising glyph by glyph, preserving the texture of dry ink on smooth paper. The core script cuts (Regular and Slanted) are rich in OpenType ligatures and swashes, making them suited to invitations, packaging and labels. The wider family adds Natura Notebook, a narrow grunge-edged serif, plus Icons and Stamps: hand-drawn ornaments and nature-themed decorative capitals.
Classification
Modern hand-calligraphy script drawn with a flexible fountain pen and digitised glyph by glyph. The family spans two script cuts (upright Regular and 16-degree Slanted) with extensive OpenType swashes and ligatures, a narrow grunge-textured serif subfamiy (Notebook), and two ornamental sets (Icons and Stamps). Predominantly a decorative script family with very limited text use.
