Monologo
Resistenza Type · Giuseppe Salerno, Paco González · 2024

A contemporary fixed-width family with an unconventional glyph skeleton and unusually broad stylistic range for a monospace, spanning standard, script, rounded and fax subfamilies across three weights with Latin, Greek and Cyrillic coverage.
About
Monologo is engineered for legibility on screen and at small sizes, with consistent spacing and a distinctive skeleton that lifts it above utilitarian workhorse monospaces. Four subfamilies – Italic, Script, Rounded and Fax – give it a broader palette than most fixed-width designs: the Fax cut adds a deliberately grungy, distressed aesthetic while Script softens the mechanical rigidity of the form. All 14 styles support Latin, Greek and Cyrillic across 200+ languages, and variable font versions are available in OTF, TTF and WOFF2.
Classification
Fixed-width family with an unconventional glyph skeleton built for screen clarity. Unusually broad for a monospaced design: four stylistic subfamilies (standard with Italic, Script, Rounded, Fax) across three weights, plus variable font support. Latin, Greek and Cyrillic scripts included.
