Dolcissimo
Resistenza Type · Giuseppe Salerno and Paco González · 2019

A friendly geometric display sans built as a 28-style layered system, with base weights designed to be stacked with decorative overlays — dots, flowers, stars, triangles and more — for dimensional poster and packaging work.
About
Dolcissimo is a hand-drawn geometric sans that doubles as a layered type system. The 28 styles break into functional weights (Thin, Regular, Rough, Outline, Script) and a wide range of decorative fill variants meant to be combined over the base letterforms for depth and texture. Its sweet spot is packaging, poster design and logo work where the stacking system earns its keep; outside those contexts, the family has limited reach.
Classification
Geometric sans-serif skeleton drawn with a deliberate hand-made quality. Designed as a layered type system: base weights (Thin, Regular, Rough, Outline, Script) are intended to be overlaid with decorative fills — dots, flowers, stars, triangles and so on — to build dimensional, multi-layer compositions. The Script sub-style shifts into informal handwritten territory.
