Afrobeat Nova updates the 2010 original with a revised uppercase set and a completely rebuilt lowercase, both constructed around the family's signature multilinear strokes that give every letterform a retro, optically-striped quality. The design draws on the visual culture of Afrobeat music – the funk and psychedelia of 1960s and 70s Nigeria – translated into geometric type. A single-weight display face, it works at large sizes on posters, event flyers, album covers and advertising where the decorative line detail has room to read.

Single-weight inline/multilinear display face. Each letterform is built from parallel strokes giving an optical, retro-striped effect. Geometric construction with strong 1970s psychedelic influences. A 2024 redesign of Resistenza's 2010 Afrobeat; uppercase was reworked and lowercase fully rebuilt. No italic, no condensed, no weight range.
