Union SMA extends Radim Peško's Union typeface into a set of custom display styles made for the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. The base Union is itself a conceptual piece: a synthesis of Arial and Helvetica, occupying the territory between their respective cultural registers. The SMA cuts translate that framework into dedicated display letterforms for one of Europe's foremost contemporary art institutions.
