Vivaceta specimen from Quintana-Font

A growing set of pictograms by Sergio Ramírez Flores, each volume containing 70 glyphs depicting human activities across domains such as sport, food, transport and construction.

About

Planned as an ongoing series, each volume – UNO, DOS, TRES and beyond – encodes 70 pictographic glyphs into standard character slots, labelled in Spanish. The depicted activities span widely separated fields, and the equal treatment of each occupation within the shared grid reflects a stated ethos of equality and integration. The style is consistent across volumes, allowing the sets to be used together.

Classification

A pictographic dingbat family rather than a text typeface; glyphs represent human activities and occupations encoded across standard character slots. Classified as display due to its symbolic, non-alphabetic nature.
