Twen traces its origins to Phillips-Twen packaging designed by Edelmann and Fleckhaus, which Cina encountered around 2010 and used as a starting point for his own proportions and voice. The typeface has been expanded and refined through practical use over the years, arriving at a complete character set with broad Latin language support. Multiple stylistic sets offer significant flexibility, covering alternate letterforms for a wide range of characters.
