Designed by Julien Janiszewski and RXC, Transfer — also known as Transfer Sans — spans seven weights labelled A through G Gauge, each with a matching italic, totalling 14 styles. The family includes Western and Eastern European character sets, ligatures and stylistic alternates. Subsets are available targeting specific use cases: upright-only, italic-only, core mid-weights and a Contrast set highlighting the extremes of the weight range.
Classification
A modern sans-serif described as 'bendy', suggesting geometric construction with fluid curves. The seven-weight Gauge system and paired italics place it firmly in the geometric sans tradition with distinctive stylistic character.
