A clean geometric sans-serif by Stefan Hattenbach, originally released in 2002 and expanded into a full OpenType Pro package in 2007–08 with three weights and matching italics.
About
Designed from the outset for both print and screen, Stalemate Pro offers Light, Medium and Heavy weights each with an italic companion. The Pro upgrade added Western and Eastern European characters alongside a comprehensive set of OpenType features including smallcaps, lining and old-style figures, tabular figures and ligatures.
Classification
A clean, modern sans-serif with geometric sensibility, designed for legibility across both print and screen environments. The absence of ornament and even stroke weight place it firmly in the geometric sans tradition.
