Kryptoid
PSY/OPS Type Foundry · RXC, Justine Mendoza, James Beall, Ngoc No, Elisenda Calduch

A family of four symbol sets — Arrows, Hex, Round and Square — each containing 300 combinable pictomorphs drawn from circuit boards, transit maps and chemical diagrams.
About
Each of the sixteen fonts in the Kryptoid system provides 300 pictomorphs, each available in three substyles — base, exo and cell — accessed via OpenType features, yielding 900 unique glyphs per font. The four sets (Arrows, Hex, Round and Square) can be layered and coloured in any OpenType-capable application. A 76-page Key Guide accompanies the fonts to help navigate the combinatorial system.
Classification
Kryptoid is a symbol and pictograph font family rather than a conventional text typeface, drawing on visual motifs from circuit boards, chemical structures and transit maps to produce combinable pictomorphs. It falls under display as the closest applicable category for decorative and symbolic font systems.
