About
Based on the calligraphed and woodcut titling of the 1703 Swedish royal Bible, Karolin preserves the strict, relatively legible character of late Baroque Fraktur. The two Fraktur fonts include both the traditional long s and a modernised k as an alternative, alongside mild variants of d and z, extended Western and Eastern European characters, and ligatures. The Versal font supplies two sets of initial caps, one decorated, alongside stylistic alternates and Roman numerals.
