MegaMegaTypeType
A stencil-cut serif variant from Playtype's Berlingske family, built for expressive headline and editorial use.
About
Drawn as a stencil offshoot of the Berlingske Serif family, this cut introduces characteristic stencil breaks into a classical serif structure. The result sits well in large-scale editorial contexts where a harder, more mechanical quality is wanted without abandoning the warmth of a serif. The scraped page offers limited detail on weights and language coverage, but the design reads as a single-weight display tool.
Classification
A stencil variant of a serif typeface, the cut bridges typical separates between serif and display categories; the stencil treatment places it firmly in the display category with a stencil serif subcategory.
