Manihot specimen from PintassilgoPrints

A bold display typeface channelling Italian film poster lettering of the 1960s and 70s, with a cut-and-paste screen-printed texture and per-letter stylistic alternates.

About

Inspired by the film poster work of Italian artist Symeoni, Manihot arrives in Clean and Rough variants alongside a dingbats set. Each letter includes an alternate glyph, giving designers room to vary rhythm and texture within a single word. The family targets posters, book covers, magazine headlines and expressive branding where immediate visual impact matters.

Classification

A high-impact display typeface with assertive letterforms and a cut-and-paste, screen-printed texture. Inspired by mid-century Italian film poster art, it sits firmly in the display category with no body-text intent.
