Evoque Text re-engineers the regular weights of the original Evoque family for sustained reading, adjusting proportions, weight and spacing to ease long passages of text. The 14-font family is complemented by two variable fonts, giving fine control over weight. OpenType features from the original are carried over, including 80 swash alternates, 26 discretionary ligatures, small caps and old-style figures, with coverage across all Latin European languages.

Classified as a humanist serif based on the foundry's own designation and the design's organic, calligraphic proportions with longer ascenders and descenders suited to extended text setting.
