Eponymous specimen from Paulo Goode

A Clarendon slab serif with scalloped serifs, ball terminals and a retro character, available in five weights with matching italics and full small caps.

About

Eponymous draws on the Clarendon tradition, distinguishing itself through scalloped serifs that give the face a distinctive personality suited to branding and logo work. The family spans five weights from Light to Black, each with a roman and italic, and includes over 650 glyphs with stylistic alternates, ligatures and harmonising small caps. Version 2, redrawn in April 2021, extended coverage to all Latin European languages and raised the overall standard of drawing and spacing.

Classification

A Clarendon-style slab serif with chunky, scalloped serifs and ball terminals, placing it firmly in the Egyptian/Clarendon tradition of bracketed slab serifs with pronounced stroke contrast.
