Classique
Paulo Goode · Paulo Goode · 2024

A 30-font Scotch Roman family drawn from a c.1785 Caslon type sample, offering three optical sizes and five weights with deliberately loose, warm letterforms.
About
Inspired by a single-page specimen of 'Eliz. Caslon's New Pica', Classique retains the irregularity and warmth of its 18th-century source through soft serifs, pinched strokes and imprecise inktraps. The family spans Text, Standard and Display optical sizes across five weights, each with matching italics, totalling 30 fonts. Over 100 stylistic alternates and 16 ligatures extend its range for headline and branding use.
