About
Designed by Alexey Chekulaev in 1998, Tornado covers a broad range from Thin to Ultra Black with matching italics, plus a separate Condensed subfamily in four weights. The Dimension style adds a decorative shadow treatment to the family. The specimen shows an even, humanist sans with open forms and consistent stroke weight.
Classification
The specimen shows a clean, low-contrast sans-serif with open apertures and humanist proportions, consistent with a humanist sans classification. The upright regular weight on display has no decorative or script qualities.
