A geometric, near-monolinear sans-serif with rounded forms, designed at SoftUnion in 1994 and available in three styles.
About
Designed by Nikolay Vsesvetsky at SoftUnion in 1994, Tavrida is a geometric sans-serif characterised by closed, rounded counters and low stroke contrast. The three styles – Book, Bold and Ad Book – suggest a range suited to poster and magazine use.
Classification
The specimen shows a geometric sans-serif with rounded, closed counters and near-monolinear strokes. The circular dot above the 'i' and the uniform, low-contrast letterforms align it clearly with geometric sans traditions.
