A rounded monoline sans-serif designed at Double Alex Font Studio in 1996, derived from VAG Rounded and Helvetica Rounded, expanded to five weights in a 2020 revision.
About
Rotonda takes its cues from Berthold's VAG Rounded (1979) and Miedinger's Helvetica Rounded (1957), applying soft terminals and an even stroke weight throughout. The family covers five weights from Light to Bold, making it suitable for posters, children's publishing and display settings. The 2020 revision brought the style count up from the original release.
Classification
A rounded, monoline sans-serif derived from VAG Rounded and Helvetica Rounded, with uniform stroke width and soft terminals that push it toward display use rather than neutral text.
