MegaMegaTypeType
A single-weight formal script designed at SoftUnion in 1993 by Nikolay Vsesvetsky, based on Friedrich Poppl's Poppl-Exquisit (1970).
About
The design follows the model of Poppl-Exquisit, a high-contrast formal penned script with swashed capitals and flowing cursive lowercase. The specimen confirms strong stroke contrast, generous swash work on the capitals and smooth connecting joins throughout. Only one style is offered.
Classification
The specimen shows a flowing, high-contrast formal script with calligraphic letterforms, swashed capitals and connecting cursive lowercase – consistent with its origins in Poppl-Exquisit, itself a formal penned script. Classified as script, formal script subcategory.
