A condensed, stamped display face from Parachute originally released in 1999, extended in its Pro version with Cyrillic support and stylistic alternates for a deliberately rough, urban aesthetic.
About
Inspired by the textures of the modern city, PF Fuel Pro carries a worn, stamped quality suited to youth-oriented campaigns across music, food and beverage, and political contexts. The Pro version adds full Cyrillic coverage alongside matching decorative frames and a broadened set of alternate characters, accessible via the stylistic alternates OpenType feature. Alternates are available in both lowercase positions and through OpenType, allowing custom treatment when identical characters appear in close proximity.
Classification
A condensed, distressed display face with a stamped, rough aesthetic drawn from urban environments. The decorative treatment, alternate characters and intentionally degraded letterforms place it firmly in the display/decorative category.
