Eskiz Two specimen from ParaType

A 1994 Russian interpretation of the Adobe Tekton tradition, drawing on Frank Ching's architectural hand lettering in ten styles across regular and condensed widths.

About

Designed by Alexey Chekulaev at Double Alex Font Studio, the typeface traces its lineage to David Siegel's Adobe Tekton (1989), which was itself adapted from the distinctive freehand lettering of architect Frank Ching. Ten styles span three weights with obliques throughout, plus a condensed subfamily. The monoline construction gives it a casual, drafting-room quality suited to poster and children's book use.

Classification

Monoline informal script derived from architectural lettering, following the tradition of Adobe Tekton which itself was based on the hand lettering of architect Frank Ching. Upright and oblique styles with condensed variants give it a hybrid script-display character.
