MegaMegaTypeType
A two-style decorative script family by Natalia Vasilyeva, pairing elaborate swash capitals in Ingenue with a more restrained treatment in Travesti.
About
Both styles blend italic letterforms with calligraphic flourishes, making them suited to titles, advertising headlines and decorative initials. Ingenue carries the fuller complement of ornamental curls in its uppercase, while Travesti strips these back for a comparatively understated result. Released by ParaType in 2009.
Classification
Combines features of italic lettering and calligraphy with decorative swashes and curls; intended primarily for display and titling use, placing it firmly in the decorative script category.
