A 1993–1995 decorative display face from SoftUnion, rooted in K. Sommer's 1930 Dynamo and offered in four styles including outline and shadow variants.
About
Designed by Nikolay Vsesvetsky at SoftUnion between 1993 and 1995, Dynar follows the geometric, high-contrast display tradition established by K. Sommer's Dynamo for Ludwig & Mayer in 1930. The family comprises four styles – Medium, Bold, Outline and Shadow – suited to headline and decorative applications. Its lineage also connects to Alan Meeks's 1968 Letraset revival of the same source material.
Classification
A decorative geometric display face with outline and shadow variants, derived from the Dynamo tradition of bold rounded sans forms used for attention-grabbing display work.
