Dom specimen from ParaType

A Cyrillic-extended digital revival of Peter Dombrezian's 1951 ATF brush script, offering four styles across Casual and Diagonal subfamilies.

About

Originally drawn by Peter Dombrezian for American Type Founders in 1951–52, Dom is an unjoined brush script with near-monotone strokes, irregular vertical endings and slightly varying oval axes that give it a loose, hand-lettered quality. The Cyrillic version was adapted by Dmitry Kirsanov for ParaType in 2008. The four styles span Casual and Diagonal variants, each available in Regular and Bold weights, suited to signage, advertising and informal print.

Classification

An unjoined informal script with brush-written character and near-monotone strokes. Letters are casually drawn with irregular vertical endings and slightly varying oval axes, placing it firmly in the informal/casual script category.
