Guri
Papanapa · Cássia Freire, Gustavo Garcia, Gustavo Kone, Luana Lellis, Lucas Rodrigues

A bespoke display identity typeface designed by Papanapa for a São Paulo state musical education and cultural inclusion programme, built to project rhythm and sensorial energy across a wide range of brand applications.
About
Created as part of a full brand overhaul for the Guri programme, the typeface anchors a visual identity system described as vibrant and restless, drawing its character from the energy of live performance and cultural participation. The wordmark adopts a plural aesthetic intended to convey movement and transformation, extending naturally into motion and varied compositional formats. Typography works alongside a vivid colour palette and dynamic layouts to unify three previously distinct areas of the programme under a single coherent visual language.
Classification
The typeface was created as part of a bespoke brand identity for a Brazilian musical education programme. The wordmark is described as having a plural aesthetic and sensorial behaviour projecting rhythm, placing it firmly in the expressive display category.
