About
Aaron Bell's revival spans four widths – Double Extra Condensed through to Regular – faithfully reconstructing the sturdy Roman letterforms common across 19th-century wood type manufacturers. The accompanying Aetna Streamer family provides five all-caps layered fonts (Banner, Fill, Outline, Shadow and a pre-composed Colour version) for building chromatic poster effects without manual layering. Latin language support covers most of Western and Central Europe.
Classification
A revival of 19th-century wood type in the Roman style, offering four width variants from Double Extra Condensed to Regular. The chromatic streamer family adds layered display capability typical of Victorian-era chromatic wood type printing.
