Ponta Text

An incise semi-serif family spanning nine weights with matching italics, designed specifically for long-form reading in books and magazines.
About
Ponta Text sits between a serif and a sans-serif, using sharp incised corners in place of traditional bracketed serifs to lend a refined quality without sacrificing legibility. The spacing has been fine-tuned for extended reading, and the family ships in both static and variable font formats. OpenType features include ligatures, contextual alternates, lining and oldstyle figures, tabular figures, superscript and subscript numerals, and fractions.
Classification
Classified as serif due to its incise semi-serif construction, which combines sharp, chiselled terminals with letterforms designed for sustained reading in editorial and long-form text settings.
