With a large x-height, low stroke contrast and mildly condensed proportions, Directa Serif can be comfortably set at smaller point sizes than most text serifs without sacrificing readability. The family comprises 14 fonts across seven weights with matching italics, each offering small caps, three figure sets (lining, old-style and tabular), ligatures, fractions, and superior and inferior numerals via OpenType features. It is intended for demanding editorial and corporate text environments where space economy matters.
