Munich Regular packs Latin coverage across 693 glyphs, including Latin Extended-A and -B ranges alongside IPA extensions and combining diacritical marks. Version 2.031 brought optically calculated bearings, class-based kerning, new ligatures (fl, fi, ffl, ffi, st, ts) and tapering on punctuation marks. The extreme condensed proportions make it a natural fit for typographic contexts where horizontal space is limited.
