Originally inspired by the Key Street logo, Batter Up has undergone multiple overhauls since its initial release, with version 5 adding full variable font functionality across three axes: weight, width and slant. The slant axis extends 12 degrees in both directions, enabling combinations such as backslanted condensed extra-bold. Coverage spans Latin Extended-A, making it suitable for a wide range of Western European languages.
