Tokyo Dome City specimen from Omega Type Foundry

A capitals-only variable display sans commissioned for Tokyo Dome City's rebrand, built across 180 masters with weight, width, height and slant axes for use on digital displays up to 120 metres wide.

About

Designed for &Form's Tokyo Dome City brand identity, the typeface uses monospaced metrics and operates exclusively in capitals to keep the vast variable design space manageable. Four axes – weight, width, height and slant – combine across 180 masters, enabling extreme typographic flexibility on custom digital signage. Ink traps, curved diagonals and occasional low-waisted letterforms give it a casual, energetic character suited to an entertainment precinct.

Classification

A capitals-only, monospaced display sans with ink traps and curved diagonals, designed for extreme variable font use across digital signage. The casual, punchy character and low-waisted forms place it firmly in display rather than text categories.
