About
The Arabic portion follows the Ruqah writing style, traditionally taught in schools but historically difficult to render digitally due to its slanted baseline; Pascal Zoghbi designed it under Wissam Shawkat's calligraphic supervision, with Eigi Yoshimoto handling OpenType engineering and the Latin type design. The Latin takes its structural cues from Humanistic Hand traditions, using exit-only strokes rather than bidirectional calligraphic strokes to echo the Arabic, and features stem angles that lean leftward to maintain visual harmony across scripts. Three stroke variants, Sharp, Flat and Round, are each available in six weights.
