About
Hasti takes its cue from the informal, bold Nastaliq script used on Iranian walls and placards rather than from classical artistic calligraphy, resulting in dense, voluminous letterforms settled on a consistent baseline. Available in Round and Sharp styles, each with Classic and Round dot variations, it omits traditional Nastaliq ligatures while preserving the overall character of the script as closely as possible. The typeface won Second Prize in the Arabic Fonts category at the 13th Granshan Type Design Competition in 2024.
