About
Designed by Alireza Nematollahi and released in November 2023, Gofteh began as paper sketches around 2020 and was ultimately resolved following study with master type designer Damoon Khanjanzadeh. The single-weight typeface offers multiple alternate letterforms and combinations, with OpenType Stylistic Set 1 and discretionary ligatures enabling additional connections to the final ی. Its strong, avant-garde forms make it most appropriate for editorial covers, poster design and display typography.
