Opake is built around an unusual design exercise: each letter is formed from a single unbroken loop, a technique that produces forms unlike those derived from calligraphic tools or geometric construction. The result shares some warmth with Cooper Black in its rounded terminals and generous curves, while remaining wholly its own thing. Suited to headlines, posters, branding and apparel, it works best at large sizes where the continuous-loop logic reads clearly.
