Derived from the lettering that spells NAZARÉ on a period Portuguese soap label, the design scales from a relatively restrained regular weight suitable for short text passages to heavy display weights where the contrast becomes markedly more dramatic. Six weights are offered alongside a variable font axis, covering a broad Latin script range. The name references a small Portuguese fishing village famed for its enormous Atlantic waves.
