Pockota
Nasir Udin Studio · Nasir Udin · 2020

A soft, retro display serif in six weights with matching italics, drawing on the rounded Cooper Black tradition with 15 stylistic sets and swash features.
About
Pockota takes cues from the thick, warmly rounded strokes of Cooper Black, softened and adapted for contemporary branding, editorial and packaging use. Six weights run from Light through Black, with lighter cuts usable for body text and the heavier weights suited to headline work. A 721-glyph character set covers 200+ Latin-based languages, and 15 stylistic sets alongside swash alternates give designers considerable room to play.
Classification
A retro display serif with rounded, soft letterforms inspired by Cooper Black's thick-stroked, warmly curved style. The soft strokes and generous curves place it firmly in the display serif tradition rather than text serif.
