Guren takes cues from transitional and contemporary serif traditions, pairing pronounced stroke contrast with an elevated x-height for improved legibility at text sizes. Sixteen styles span ExtraLight to Black, each accompanied by a matching italic, giving designers flexibility across headline, branding and editorial contexts. OpenType support includes contextual alternates, discretionary ligatures, fractions and a range of numeral forms within a 519-glyph set.
