About
The workshops have taken place at institutions across Marrakech, Berlin, Chaumont, Paris, Yerevan and Amman, spanning formats from three-hour sessions to ten-day intensive programmes. Themes include North African Maghrebi script traditions, the relationship between Arabic and Latin letterforms, and collective approaches to understanding type design as a system-building discipline. Several sessions have challenged Latin-centric design processes by grounding participants in non-Latin archives and oral traditions.
