Urbolyt VF treats each letterform as an architectural construction, with characters such as N, A and M built from hard angles reminiscent of skyscrapers, whilst X, C and E carry softer, more fluid movements. The variable axis gives designers continuous control over width across a 75–150% range, making it adaptable for headlines, logotypes and event posters where density and rhythm matter. The 440-glyph set covers 190 languages, suggesting broad Latin script support.
