Circular blackletter initials, wired with hairline scaffolding, recast for setting whole words in capitals.
About
Each capital is bent into a round frame and crossed with fine lines, so the letters look like circuit boards drawn in Fraktur. Initials normally stand alone, but these are spaced to set words, which turns them into a loud display face. It is capitals and punctuation only, so think record sleeves, posters and logotypes.
Classification
A revival of Spitzenpfeil's Fränkisch-Initialen: blackletter capitals twisted to fill a circle and crossed by rigid hairline scaffolding, like a monospaced blackletter. Very limited character set: unaccented capitals A–Z and basic punctuation only, with no lowercase, figures or accented letters shown.
