A geometric CJK typeface constructed on a 13-grid system using only straight lines, aiming to unify regional glyph variations across the East Asian cultural sphere in eight weights.
About
Built according to four strict rules — straight lines only, a 13-grid structure, moderate spacing and open forms — the family prioritises visual coherence across Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters. At its 2020 release, coverage included 100% of Jōyō kanji and the full 1,000-character classic, with ongoing development towards the broader CJK Unified Ideographs block. Eight weights from Thin to Black offer flexibility across typographic scales.
Classification
Constructed on a strict grid system using only straight lines, the design is a geometric sans-serif built around systematic rules for CJK ideographic characters, prioritising structural regularity across East Asian script coverage.
