Monospaceland specimen from Mint Type

A rounded monospaced family in seven weights with obliques, reverse obliques and a two-axis variable font, covering Latin and Cyrillic scripts with small capitals and double-width alternates.

About

Each of the seven weights comes in upright, oblique and reverse oblique cuts, totalling 21 styles with a matching variable font spanning weight and slant axes. The rounded terminals give the family a friendly, informal character that sits apart from the utilitarian coding mono tradition. Double-width glyph alternatives and small capitals add typographic range beyond what most monospaced families offer.

Classification

A round, fixed-width typeface with geometric character forms. The monospaced construction is central to the design, with each glyph occupying an equal advance width, while the rounded stroke endings give it a distinctly geometric feel.
