Spilled Ink
Michael Rafailyk · Michael Rafailyk · 2021

A smooth, unicase handwritten display typeface with rounded letterforms across four weights, designed to pair with illustration work.
About
Inspired by the way ink spreads and fills organic shapes, Spilled Ink eschews sharp corners in favour of soft, flowing curves. The unicase design gives lowercase letters the same height as uppercase, making them interchangeable as alternates in headline settings. The family covers over 500 languages across Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, Georgian, Arabic and Hebrew scripts, and includes a variable font alongside four static weights.
Classification
A handwritten unicase typeface with smooth, rounded letterforms inspired by the organic spread of ink. The absence of sharp corners and the unified cap and lowercase height place it firmly in the casual handwritten display category.
