A pixel-inspired display family in two styles – a monochrome Mono and a colour Mosaic – built from rectangular elements rotated at 0 and 45 degrees, with asymmetrical serifs rooted in Ukrainian typographic tradition.
About
Each letterform is assembled from non-intersecting rectangular blocks sized to multiples of 8 units, referencing 8-bit video game aesthetics. In the Mosaic style, every block is painted a distinct colour via COLR and SVG colour font technology, producing a stained-glass mosaic effect. The asymmetrical upper-left and lower-right serif strokes recall the work of Ukrainian graphic artist Heorhiy Narbut, grounding a nostalgic concept in a specific national typographic heritage.
