Built on a geometric sans structure, Hupaisa introduces subtle hand-drawn irregularity that softens the typical rigidity of the genre without abandoning its underlying logic. Sixteen stylistic sets offer considerable flexibility in shaping letterforms, covering alternate constructions for many characters including multiple forms of 'a', 'g' and 'y'. Despite its display orientation, the foundry describes it as readable at smaller sizes, making it practical for both headlines and short body passages.
